The LSCU & Affiliates announces Brett Beemer as new chief financial officer effective Jan. 16, leading the Accounting & Finance, Information technology, People & Culture, and Facilities & Operations functions of the organization. Brett brings more than 22 years of experience with more than 14 years serving in a CFO capacity in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

For most of his career, Brett has managed the areas of accounting and finance, human resources, and information technology. He has been responsible for strategic direction of these departments as well as being hands on with the day-to-day responsibilities as needed. He also brings to the position strong merger and acquisition (M&A) experience, which will be of great benefit to LEVERAGE. Brett is a certified public accountant (CPA) and holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from UCF, a bachelor of arts degree in cultural anthropology, and a bachelor of arts degree in history from Crown College.
